The final result, an improbable 5-4, is the testament to a night in which defences were mere spectators to a heavy artillery duel.

Second half: The stars' "braces" and the final siege (5-4)
The restart didn't bring calm, but more gunpowder. PSG came out determined to seal the deal and the magic connection reappeared. Kvaratskhelia signed his brace in the 56th for 4-2, and just two minutes later, in the 58th, Ousmane Dembélé also completed his own count with the 5-2. At that moment, Bayern looked knocked out, victim of an attacking gale that seemed to have the "turbo" permanently held down.
But Bavarian pride is inexhaustible. Instead of giving up, Bayern threw themselves forward. The centre-back Dayot Upamecano pulled one back in the 65th from a corner (5-3) and only three minutes later, in the 68th, the Colombian Luis Díaz made it a final 5-4 that left the match in a state of unbearable tension.
The last 20 minutes were a total siege from Bayern looking for the equaliser at five, while PSG tried to break on the counter for the sixth. There were no more goals, but the final feeling is that we have witnessed a match you only see once a decade.
